Description:

SUU Hope Corps is a branch of the SUU Entrepreneurship Center. Due to COVID-19 many small businesses are struggling to stay in business. This position will involve working directly with SUU’s Entrepreneurship Center to assist local businesses with product photography and videography for the products and services they offer.

This position is a summer internship in Cedar from May to August. We are seeking students that can start employment immediately.

Qualifications:

  • Experience taking detailed, professional, product photography.
  • Experience shooting, editing, and producing content for websites, social media platforms, print publications, email communications, advertisements, special events, meetings/presentations, and other advertisements as needed.
  • Experience with Photoshop, Lightroom, and other editing software.
  • Able to develop and maintain image library files.
  • Must have a creative eye and ability to capture experiences in product videos.
  • Experience editing, splicing, and combining videos.
  • Manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Strong people/customer service skills to adequately communicate with clients.
  • Multi-task and meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to teach business owners the basics of photography and videography.
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Sample of previous work (photography, videos created - please attach links to websites in resume).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior Student
  • Experience with Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube ads.
